Memphis Grizzlies trade No. 2: B-

This trade centers more around the Grizzlies giving up young talent, but still holds similarities to the last trade. Memphis would still have to give up Kyle Anderson. Here’s how it would happen:

Again, this trade isn’t perfect, but it’s another step in the right direction for both of these franchises. The Grizzlies are looking to make a push toward contention, while the Rockets will be looking to enter full rebuild mode.

In this scenario, Houston would be giving up two players: Victor Oladipo and David Nwaba. The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are swapping Dillon Brooks for De’Anthony Melton from the last trade.

Melton recently signed a new contract with the Grizzlies, so the Rockets would be getting 3 and a half more years out of him. That being said, with the way Desmond Bane has been playing for the Grizz, it’s hard to see too much playing time in the future for “Mr. Do Something.”

This would be a solid trade, but it still involves giving up Kyle Anderson, who has to be close to untouchable status for Memphis. I think they could get more out of a deal, but this one isn’t too bad.

The next one is the best for both teams.
