Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. De'Anthony Melton. 4. SG. 22 years old. player. 211

Memphis Grizzlies SG De’Anthony Melton is quietly one of the most promising players on this team

There are a lot of young guards on this Grizzlies team, but the decision to put De’Anthony Melton on this list seemed simple. At 22 years old, he has proven that he can be a quality NBA player thus far.

He likely doesn’t have superstar potential, but he does have game-changing potential. It’s the reason why we call him “Mr. Do Something.”

He has improved his game right where it was needed, shooting from the 3-point line at over a 10% higher clip than he did a year ago. His shooting has been big for a Grizzlies squad that has not done well this year from deep.

We just saw him play arguably his best game of the season against the Miami Heat, giving us a glimpse into the player he can be in the future.

Having just signed a contract in the offseason, Melton will be in Memphis for the long haul, so get used to the most energetic player on the roster being on Beale Street.
