The Memphis Grizzlies will look to bounce back after back-to-back losses against the best team in the NBA, the Utah Jazz. They’ll get as much of a break as they can, facing the Rockets in Houston.

That said, this won’t necessarily be a walk in the park. Even though this team has lost 23 of their last 26 games, they’ve also won two of their last four.

That said, this Grizzlies team embarrassed the Rockets just over a month ago, handing this team a 49-point loss. This would be a new franchise record for a Grizzlies team that does not often participate in blowout wins.

Headlined by John Wall, Eric Gordon (out), and Christian Wood, this team will put up a fight. They’re looking to make an argument that they are not the worst team in the league, so this could be a trap game for the Grizz.

Will the Memphis Grizzlies take care of business? Our contributors weigh in.

Jack Williams: The Grizzlies should win this game. If they lost, it would be completely embarrassing and set them down a rough path as they’ll be facing the Jazz on Wednesday. That said, I think Taylor Jenkins will stress the importance of winning this easy game and the Grizz will show up to play. Ja Morant will have a bounce-back game and Jonas Valanciunas will do what Jonas Valanciunas does. Dillon Brooks will continue to be a big scorer. The Grizzlies will win big.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 121, Houston Rockets 99

Justin Churchill: The Memphis Grizzlies destroyed the Rockets in their last matchup, making it the largest victory in franchise history. Now, the Rockets have Christian Wood back and look a little different than before. Nonetheless, the Grizzlies have been playing well lately, and will carry over that momentum into a win.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 112, Houston Rockets 97

Brandon Martinez: The Grizzlies are facing a team that has mightily struggled this season, especially with the loss of Christian Wood. Unfortunately, Wood is back and is picking up right where he left off. Despite Wood being back in the lineup, the Grizzlies will win with ease. I’m predicting Dillon Brooks will have a huge night.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 133, Houston Rockets 91

Thomas Welch: The Grizzlies’ largest win in franchise history was the last game they played against the Houston Rockets, who have struggled all season long. They will have Christian Wood in uniform this time around, but even with him back it’s doubtful they’ll be able to beat the Grizz tonight.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 120, Houston Rockets 99
