Memphis Grizzlies strong performers in win vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Memphis Grizzlies played a team game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. When I say that, I mean that this team’s scoring stretched across the entire lineup. Because of this, this game’s player grades will be split into multiple slides. One for strong performers and one for the key performers.

Here are three of six players who had strong outings against the Timberwolves.

Grayson Allen: Grayson Allen didn’t do anything particularly flashy statistically with 15 points, but he scored the ball when it mattered. His elite shooting was able to pull this Grizzlies team into a rhythm and helped them reach one of the best 3-point shooting nights of the year.

Player Grade: B-

Brandon Clarke: The second-year forward out of Gonzaga did just about everything for the Grizzlies on Friday night. He had 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and finished the game at +18. That said, he had an off-shooting night, which is the only thing keeping him from the next tier of this list.

Player Grade: B

Xavier Tillman: Xavier Tillman didn’t have an unusually strong night, but he played an excellent role for this team while the aforementioned center was out with foul trouble. Tillman would finish the game with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block. He played a strong game on every part of the court.

Player Grade: A-

But there were players who played beyond this category. There are still three more key performers who remain.
