Fresh off a season where they shattered expectations, the Memphis Grizzlies have started off the 2022-23 campaign strongly. They currently sit with a record of 4-2, good for sixth place in the Western Conference.
Led by impressive showings from Ja Morant and Desmond Bane, Memphis looks poised to regain a top spot in the West. They appear well on their way to proving that last season was no fluke.
Now that each NBA team has played a handful of games, all national outlets have begun updating their power rankings. Here is a layout of where the Grizzlies stand.
First up are the people over at Bleacher Report. They bumped Memphis into the top five after placing them eighth in their initial list. Now in the fifth slot, they are one spot behind the Phoenix Suns and one spot ahead of the Denver Nuggets.
