2. Tobias Harris

With the departure of Dillon Brooks this offseason, the Memphis Grizzlies find themselves with a need for a new starting small forward.

Should they not find the answer to this vacancy between now and next summer, addressing the position via the free agency market could be an ideal course of action for this front office to take, and Tobias Harris would be a worthwhile option GM Zach Kleiman must consider.

While Brooks may have believed himself to be an efficient two-way forward, Harris actually is.

Between playing with the Los Angeles Clippers and, for the last four full seasons the Philadelphia 76ers, since 2018-19 the 31-year-old has been posting stellar averages of 18.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting a highly efficient 48.9 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from distance.

On top of this, he boasts an impressive defensive rating of 109 for his career and is coming off a personal best offensive rating of 118 in 2022-23.

His on-court abilities show that he has the potential to be a seamless fit within this Grizzlies starting rotation as he has a proven track record of successfully serving as an offensive initiator and defensive disruptor while also possessing the willingness to cede touches and responsibilities to his star teammates as we saw these last two seasons with Joel Embiid and James Harden.

For the right price, the arguably underrated Tobias Harris could be a tremendous add to Memphis’ core and would have the potential to further strengthen their play on both ends of the floor.
