On a surface level, Quinten Post's three-year $30 million offer sheet is a lot for the Grizzlies' likely third center option. However, if the Warriors don't match the offer sheet before tomorrow night's deadline, the Grizzlies will have made a no-brainer signing based on some newly reported contract details.
A recent tweet from Jake Fischer gave out some extremely valuable new information about the contract details of Quinten Post's offer sheet that should ease the minds of Grizzlies fans.

Memphis is guaranteed, per sources. Yet there are ~$1.3M in unlikely incentives each season if Post were to make an All-Defense Team, so that extra money would count against the Warriors’ apron… https://t.co/Pj9d88iHng
The first crucial detail is that Quinten Post's first season is the only fully guaranteed year of his contract. Another article from Nick Friedell and Fred Katz of The Athletic also cited from a league source saying that Post would receive $9 million guaranteed during the guaranteed year. Any concerns about the annual value should be put to bed based on these details alone.
Second, the Grizzlies inserted a key provision that includes incentives of approximately $1.3 million per season if Quinten Post makes an All-Defense Team. However, the one detail of the provision that makes it almost certain that the Warriors will not match the offer sheet is that the money would still count against the Warriors' apron salary even if Post doesn't make an All-Defense Team.
Basically, given the Warriors' need for flexibility to make more offseason moves, it would be an extreme shocker if they match Quinten Post's offer sheet. All signs point to Quinten Post becoming a new member of the Memphis Grizzlies and making a promising frontcourt even deeper.
The Grizzlies could benefit from the Warriors not matching
From the Warriors' perspective, it simply doesn't make sense for them to match Quinten Post's offer sheet. The Warriors are currently in pursuit of LeBron James, and Draymond Green has still yet to re-sign with the team. Matching would also make it more difficult for the Warriors to remain below the second apron. Peter O'Keefe of Blue Man Hoop had the following to say earlier today:
"As much as this is a clever move from the Grizzlies, it doesn't help the Warriors at all, who would still have an $11.3 million cap hit for next season if they choose to match in the next 36 hours. Given that would impact their pursuit of superstar forward LeBron James, it's impossible to see them matching this offer sheet." - Peter O'Keefe, Blue Man Hoop
Two things can be true. First, the Warriors would significantly weaken their chances at landing LeBron James if they match the offer sheet. Second, adding the provision is clever work from Zach Kleiman and should almost certainly guarantee that Quinten Post ends up in Memphis. The Grizzlies have made it a point of emphasis to build strong frontcourt depth around Zach Edey and Cam Boozer.
At 26 years old, Post will bring another source of three-point shooting while also showing defensive growth in his second season as a Warrior. Given the fact that Post should be a strong fit for Tuomas Iisalo's system, there is a slight chance that the deal could go from being discussed as an overpay to a potential steal later on.
The latest details on Post's offer sheet could end up leading the Grizzlies to another great move in what has been an impressive offseason for Zach Kleiman so far.
