2. The continued development of GG Jackson, Vince Williams Jr.
As noted, there have been a few specific success stories for the Grizzlies this season when it comes to calling up talents from their G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle, with GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr. headlining the charge in this department.
Since January, the two have begun to receive consistent action within coach Jenkins' rotation and, in their own right, have generated quite a bit of buzz, as Jackson has been tabbed "the best-looking prospect" the team has seen since Ja Morant came into the league while Williams managed to earn himself a selection to this year's Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend.
And while both have been deserving of the hype that they've received, in actuality the vast majority of their noteworthy on-court achievements have only been based on a timespan of fewer than 20 games.
With more action under their belt comes more footage for opposing teams to study and, in turn, more content for rivals to gameplan around as they look to minimize the impact or simply shut down both of these youngsters.
Over the next two months, it will be interesting to see how both Williams and Jackson continue with their progressions and on-court development as they try to prove themselves worthy of being considered foundational commodities ahead of Memphis' presumed title aspirations come next year.
