Wayne Selden Jr., makes his mark on this list just due to his lack of progression. A lot of that lack of progression is due to an injury bug that Selden can not seem to escape. Selden has all of the tools to be the starting shooting guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, but his health has played a huge role in his NBA career.

Dating back to his college days, Selden was projected to be high draft pick, but instead went undrafted due to a knee procedure that many were told had his career in jeopardy had Selden going into the NBA undrafted. Hate to see it, but Selden has shown so much potential, but his knees have given him fits in his time with Memphis.

For that Selden only has to prove that he is healthy enough to play an 82 game season with regular minutes. His flashes have been great, and while getting us all excited, we are humbled by Selden’s health given his situation in the knee region.

Selden will have a lot to prove in training camp, and while health is a huge factor, Selden will also have to continue to show his progression with this team and his teammates throughout training camp, and the preseason.
