3. E’Twaun Moore

Depending on what potential free agents like DeMar DeRozan, Gordon Hayward, and Tim Hardaway Jr. do with the player options on their contract, there’s a good chance E’Twaun Moore goes overlooked with the crop of backcourt players in this year’s free agent pool.

Moore isn’t a name that is going to jump off the page by any means, but he could be a crucial piece in the rotation for Memphis. He would be a nice complimentary piece to De’Anthony Melton in the second rotation of the Grizzlies’ backcourt, and given Moore’s size and shooting ability he could play both the one and two guard.

Another bonus for signing Moore is how cheap he would come. The Grizzlies are already in the luxury tax, and for next season, they are just $2 million below the current projected salary cap line of $115. Moore made an average of $8.5 million a year on his last contract, but he is starting to decline from his prime, so there is a chance that Memphis could get him for slightly cheaper than that.
