Memphis Grizzlies Key No. 1: Slow down Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown

It’s hard to find a team in the NBA with more promising young players than the Memphis Grizzlies. When you’re looking at the Boston Celtics, you’ll see that they may compete for the title of best young roster in the league.

Much like Memphis, this is a team filled with future All-Stars, mainly built around two specific players in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

With Kemba Walker sitting against the Grizzlies, these two will have the weight of the team on their shoulders. This isn’t a good thing either, as they are both fully capable of taking over a game at any given moment.

These guys have been huge for the Celtics and make their team fun to watch night in and night out. The Grizzlies have to slow one or the other down if they want a chance of victory.

We’ve seen Memphis succeed with this recently against the Los Angeles Clippers, when the slowed down Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. With Kyle Anderson and Justise Winslow, the Grizzlies are a perfect defensive matchups for teams with strong small forward play.
