The Memphis Grizzlies couldn’t have won without these key performers

This is the second of the list that you likely clicked to see. These players are the reason that the Memphis Grizzlies will be flying into Atlanta with a win on the books. They played lights-out and each of these guys showed why they are key parts of this team’s rotation. These are the key performers from Tuesday night’s win against the Miami Heat.

Jonas Valanciunas: Jonas Valanciunas has quickly become a lock for a double-double. Watching him play is odd, as he doesn’t necessarily do anything particularly flashy, but keeps everything together behind the scenes. By the end of the game, you don’t even realize that he has another 20-10 stat line, but he does it almost every game. As usual, JV showed out against the Heat, continuing to prove why he’s a top NBA center.

Player Grade: A-

Kyle Anderson: Kyle Anderson has such a unique play style. He looks slow and clunky, but somehow puts up the most well-rounded stat line of anybody on the team every single night. The Grizzlies forward put up 19 points on the night, tagging on 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and a steal. The only thing holding him back from a vintage Kyle Anderson stat line was a block.

Player Grade: B+

Dillon Brooks: Dillon Brooks played the best half of basketball that we’ve seen out of a player all season. After being fouled and seemingly twisting his ankle, Brooks took over the third quarter, dropping 23 points. He couldn’t be stopped and gave this Grizzlies team a distinct advantage as they entered the fourth. He finished the game with 28 points and 2 steals, looking like an NBA superstar for a decently long stretch of basketball.
