Memphis Grizzlies Player Rating Predictions: NBA 2K22

John Konchar: You will not find a bigger John Konchar fan than myself. I think he’s the best reserve player in the league right now and could fit into the starting lineup of any NBA team. That said, he was slightly overrated in last year’s 2K game for one reason or another, so I don’t see his rating improving much. That said, “Konch” is a hard worker who deserves a rating bump more than anybody on this team. I think he’ll get a small boost anyway.

2K21 Rating: 75

Predicted 2K22 Rating: 76

Eric Bledsoe: Bledsoe might not even be on the Grizzlies roster when the season rolls around. That said, he’s still a serviceable point guard who plays really solid defense for his size and position, earning back-to-back All-NBA honors in 2019 and 2020. Unfortunately, NBA 2K doesn’t seem to care about defensive accolades, as shown by his 77 overall rating last season.

2K21 Rating: 77

Predicted 2K22 Rating: 76

Brandon Clarke: Clarke is one of few players on this team who I believe will get a significant downgrade. Part of this is the fact that his rating was slightly overinflated in NBA 2K21 but most of the reasoning here is that he had an objectively worse season in year two. In more minutes per game, Clarke’s points, shooting percentages, and overall efficiency dropped.

2K21 Rating: 81

Predicted 2K22 Rating: 78
