Jason Williams, also known as “White Chocolate,” a guard out of Florida, has been a cult favorite of fans for his unparalleled passing ability, insane handles, and iconic swagger.

Williams played for the Grizzlies from 2001 through 2005, helping the Grizzlies reach the playoffs for the first time in 2004 against the San Antonio Spurs. He did end his career in Memphis, played 11 games for the team during the 2010-2011 season before retiring.

Jason Williams is one of the most prolific passers in the history of the Memphis Grizzlies, pairing style with accuracy like few others ever have before.

During his time with the Grizzlies, he averaged around 11.5 points per game and dished out an average of 7 assists per game.

White Chocolate was involved in a 2005 offseason trade that sent him, along with teammate James Posey, to the Miami Heat. Williams played a pivotal role in helping the Miami Heat win the 2006 NBA Championship over the Dallas Mavericks.

Williams returned to the Grizzlies in 2011 via free agency during the 2010-2011 NBA season. Injuries and lack of production lead the then-35-year-old to retire from the NBA after 12 seasons playing for the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, and Orlando Magic.
