2. Jaren Jackson Jr.: Recovering and hitting the studio

If anything, Jaren Jackson Jr. has taken this hiatus to show the fans just how much they mean to him. JJJ has posted on Twitter numerous times telling fans they could vent in the comments below, and asking his followers how they are doing.

Aside from trying to spread some nice vibes around during a difficult time, Jackson Jr. is also taking some time to fully recover from an injury to his knee that happened earlier in the season. The timing of the hiatus is unfortunate for Jackson Jr., as the Grizzlies expected him to be back within the week.

During the break, Jackson Jr. appears to be following a passion that may not have been none to many Grizzlies fans: music.

Jackson Jr. looks to be using this time to go into the studio, and do some recording; following a mold set by Shaquille O’Neal, Damian Lillard, and a few other NBA players.

With any luck, Memphis fans will be able to see a mixtape from the up-and-coming wing sometime soon.
